The government is ending 'Enterprise investment scheme' (EIS) tax reliefs for new community energy projects from 30 November. It won't affect our scheme, of course, but you might be interested in investing in other projects offering shares before the deadline. -

New £1.1m community solar plant lights up 55,000 bulbs

Investors in a £1.1 million community solar plant in Somerset celebrated its official opening with a glass of sparkling local cider on Saturday (2 Nov). Many of the 150 people who have ploughed funds into Wedmore Community Power Co-operative joined in celebrations marking completion of the one-megawatt plant. -
